Masterfoods required a machine solution to automate the packing of food service sauces and spreads. The weight of the products and the fact that some were hot-filled caused hand-pack issues that Masterfoods wanted to remove. Due to successful previous projects on the Masterfoods site, we were the go-to supplier for another Wraparound Case Packer.
The solution for Masterfoods was a standard RML case packer with a customised infeed. The high product supply from the filler resulted in a collation with a de-stacking foot to get the product down to a lowered level for case packing. The Wraparound Case Packer also included an integrated check weigher with reject.
Our integrated, advanced operation ensures the best quality cream cheese is produced consistently.
It was an opportunity to increase the packing line automation, with labour savings offsetting the capital costs.
RML worked with us to understand our requirements and designed a solution to suit our needs. RML delivered an automated system to service two moulding machines producing the Gallagher Ring Top Posts.
We set RML a challenge, design and build a new butter packing machine for a challenging application. RML produced a smart and effective solution that exceeded our expectations.
