Bread Bag Closer

Challenge 

When Goodman Fielder launched this award-winning range in 2006, packaging was of paramount importance as they wanted to introduce all the characteristics of fresh bread but in the packaged aisles. The high volume ‘brown paper bag’ look and feel was born! 

We collaborated closely with the customer’s engineers and marketing team to create the C600 Closer with its state-of the-art technology and a generous slice of kiwi-ingenuity.  

Solution 

The machine overcame the challenge of working with paper instead of traditional plastic and, once applied, the eye-catching label provided three functions: firstly it secured the bag closed, secondly it reinforced brand differentiation and, thirdly, it allowed the consumer to re-close the bag once opened.
